Volume growth under 25% yoy for the first time this calendar year. Royal Enfield (RE), the motorcycle franchise owned by Eicher Motors Limited (EML), reported 23% yoy total volume growth in May 2018. It sold 74,697 motorcycles in May 2018 against 60,696 motorcycles in May 2017. The number was lower than BloombergQuint estimate of 76,000 motorcycles. Domestic volumes were up 24% yoy, while exports were up 7% yoy.
