Nifty Outlook
In today’s trade, markets managed to hold its opening gains and traded with a positive bias. Nifty Bank Index witnessed wild swings ahead of the monetary policy.Tracking the options front, Nifty 10000CE saw unwinding of short positions to the tune of 1.45 shares, while Nifty 9800PE saw an addition in open interest to the tune of 8.3 lakh shares, majorly hort positions, making 9800 level as an immediate support for the index. India Vix index ended on a flat note at 12.46 mark.
Bank Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty index has pared opening gains to trade flat at 24,049 level as of 1405 hours on Tuesday. Yes Bank was top gainer in the index trading marginally higher by 0.61% at Rs 352.15 per share. Axis Bank was second top gainer in the index trading marginally higher by 0.46% at Rs 511.5 per share. There were 5 advances and 7 declines in the index showing mixed sentiments floating in the banking sector.
