RCom falls 12% on reports DoT has rejected its spectrum deal with Jio

Shares of Reliance Communications (RCom) fell as much as 12 per cent to Rs 13.77 apiece on BSE in the intra-day trade on Wednesday after a news report suggested that the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Tuesday, told RCom and Reliance Jio Infocomm that it can’t approve their spectrum deal to trade airwaves as it does not adhere to its guidelines.

Indiabulls Housing Finance drops 2% post Q2FY19 numbers

Shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance were trading 2% down in the morning session Tuesday after the company’s standalone net profit for Q2FY19missed street expectation. The housing finance company’s net profit was 3% below consensus estimates, which has improved by 21.3% yoy to Rs1,044cr against Rs861cr yoy. Its GNPA for Q2FY19 stood at 0.77%, which is flat qoq. Ahead of Q2 results, Hero Motocorp trades flat, Infy gains 1%

IT giant Infosys and India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp are all set to announce their results on Tuesday. Rupee slides again, hits fresh record low of 74.46

The rupee on Thursday plunged 25 paise to hit a fresh new low of 74.46 against the US dollar in the opening trade. The domestic currency snapped its six-session losing streak to end 18 paise higher at 74.21 on Wednesday after the American currency weakened overseas. Traders said RBI's decision to inject Rs 120 billion liquidity into the economy through the purchase of government bonds on October 11 to meet the festival season demand for funds supported the recovery in rupee.

Sadbhav Infra’s arm wins arbitration against NHAI; Stock gains 3%

Shares of Sadbhav Infrastructure were trading 3% higher in the morning session on Tuesday as its subsidiary Nagpur Seoni Express Way Limited (NSEL) won an arbitration award against NHAI. From the date of award till the final payment, NSEL shall receive interest at the rate of 12% per annum. Additionally, NSEL will get 19 semi-annual annuity amounts of Rs21.79cr instead of Rs19.19cr presently paid by NHAI making the total award amount of Rs110.50cr, the company said in a press release to the exchanges on Monday after market hours. NBFCs under pressure; DHFL, Edelweiss Financial fall over 10%

Shares of non-banking financial companies (NBFC) were reeling under pressure falling by up to 11% on the BSE after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday said that it will revise NBFC asset-liability norms over borrowing-lending mismatch. Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL), JM Financial, Edelweiss Financial Services, Centrum Capital, Repco Home Finance, Reliance Home Finance, Aditya Birla Money and Indiabulls Ventures have fallen in the range of 5% to 11% on the BSE in intra-day trade on Monday. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 0.37% at 34,502 points at 12:22 pm.

Housing finance stocks drop; Indiabulls HF down 4%
